The HR Generalist/Recruiter is a key member of the Human Resources team for the Hiring Company. The HR Generalist will assist in collaborating with all internal stakeholders and external partners.  Develops and coordinates department activities that support the Company’s mission, vision, and values.  Must have Strong emphasis on talent acquisition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts all work to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements. 
  • Acts as the Company’s recruitment brand champion and collaborates with marketing and other partners.
  • Maintains job requisitioning system to facilitate internal tracking/recordkeeping requirements.  Develops recruiting metrics and reports upon them on a regular basis.
  • Conducts job analyses to establish job descriptions based on requisite candidate knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Leads recruiting and interview planning for open positions, collaborating with applicable stakeholders and hiring managers.
  • Effectively uses a variety of sourcing tools and methods, both traditional and innovative, to build applicant pools.  Candidate pools must be both active and passive job seekers.
  • Administer, in conjunction with Marketing, the Company’s website careers page and job postings.  Administers ATS, job posting and recruiting site accounts.
  • Manages external relationships with contractor employment agencies, recruiters, trade schools, community colleges, and others, while also sourcing to diversify such relationships.
  • Responsible for managing all university campus recruiting to meet hiring needs, to include internship fulfillment.
  • Manages contractor to permanent hire process to ensure talented contractors are converted to regular employment.
  • Conducts all pre-employment and post-offer activities, to include performing references, declination communications, job offers, drug testing, and relocation assistance.
  • Performs onboarding activities such as new hire department rotations and required training.
  • Performs compensation analysis for new and actively open positions ensuring overall competitive total rewards.
  • Assists with outside agency reporting responsibilities, such as EEOC claims, EEO-1 reporting, OSHA 300/300-A reporting, and others as may be required.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding the organization’s processes, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Complies with all Company policies, rules, guidelines and behavior expectations.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Company.

                               Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Three years of very strong emphasis in recruiting/talent acquisition with demonstrated experience in full cycle recruiting
  • Three years of related Human Resources experience in multiple human resources disciplines

                                          Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certification, or related recruiting certification, highly preferred
  • Five years’ related Human Resources and recruiting experience

Job Purpose:

The Lead A&P Mechanic is responsible for ensuring that the people assigned to their crew complete their tasks safely, in full compliance with all manuals and procedures while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Responsibilities:

8. Ensure that tools and equipment are serviceable and, where applicable, that they meet calibration requirements prior to their use.
 
9. Supervises all maintenance personnel to ensure efficiency in available manpower utilization.
 
10. Maintains the work areas, buildings and materials, which are utilized for aircraft maintenance, in a safe, clean and operative condition.
 
11. Ensures all tasks assigned are completed in accordance with manufacturer’s manuals or other FAA accepted or approved data.
 
12. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Technical Operations and/or Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least two years’ experience in aircraft maintenance
  •  Hold a valid Mechanic’s Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings; and meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year experience in a supervisory capacity (PREFERRED)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support the Director of Maintenance and other management in projecting a strong commitment and the promotion of safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Advise in the oversight of day to day operations of fleet aircraft to help ensure dispatch reliability is met or exceeded.

  • Performs duties and responsibilities at field locations away from home base to support fleet maintenance.
  • Coordinate with Spares Department to help ensure adequate spares and tooling are available to perform maintenance.

Experience:

  • Candidate must have advanced Embraer 120 technical experience.
  • Minimum of four years Embraer technical experience
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license or equivalent.
  • Advanced aircraft maintenance troubleshooting skills required.

Airline Quality Control Inspector-San Marcos, TX (2) Positions Available

PURPOSE:

The Airline Quality Control Inspector is directly responsible to the Chief Inspector and responsible for performing RII inspections, hidden damage inspections, in-process inspections, and finial inspections on civil aviation articles that the 135 Air Carrier has been rated for.

**NIGHT SHIFT POSITION**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Work with the Chief Inspector to ensure the Quality Control Procedures outlined in the *Companies General Maintenance Manual (GMM) are enforced and followed by all maintenance personnel.

•Work with the Chief Inspector to establish the policies and procedures outlined in the GMM as they relate to the functions of the air carrier inspection department.

•Ensure that when maintenance is performed all work is accomplished in accordance with the Air Carriers manuals and that all required inspection items (RII) have been inspected, documented and marked as a “RII” on all required inspection records, forms and/or maintenance logs.

•Ensure maintenance personnel have and use the most current aircraft/component manufactures maintenance manuals, technical data, and required forms during maintenance on company aircraft.

•Ensure that precision tools and test equipment used by maintenance personnel are the proper tools and/or test equipment called out in the applicable maintenance manuals and are within the required calibration interval at the time of use.

•Ensure aircraft parts and/or components removed by maintenance personnel during the course of maintenance activities have been properly tagged listing the correct disposition to prevent the use of rejected and/or unserviceable parts. In addition, ensure the procedures for “Segregation and Handling of Parts” as outlined in the GMM is being followed by all personnel.

•Perform daily in-process inspections on company aircraft undergoing maintenance to assure all worked performed meets the requirements outlined in the GMM.

•Perform daily in-process reviews of all inspection records, forms and tags to ensure maintenance personnel are signing off inspection checklists progressively and all inspection findings & corrective actions have been documented on the work order with all required information as outlined in the GMM.

•Ensure that only serviceable and airworthy approved parts are installed as part of the maintenance performed by the air carrier.

•Monitor shelf life limited parts and materials used by the air carrier to ensure out of date items are not used on company aircraft.

•During the daily in-process reviews/Inspections, identify maintenance tasks that qualify as a major repair/alteration as outlined in the GMM and 14 CFR Part 43, ensure these tasks are clearly marked on the work order as such. Coordinate with the Lead Mechanic and Chief Inspector to ensure FAA approved data is available and used to perform the major repair/alteration.

•Perform maintenance records audit and finial inspection on company aircraft once maintenance is complete, this should include the following:  
   ◦Review all inspection records, work orders and forms to ensure maintenance personnel have completed and properly signed off all inspection   tasks and cleared all open discrepancies.
   ◦Ensure all required inspection items (RII) have been performed and documented.
   ◦If any major repairs/alterations were performed verify work was performed in accordance with FAA approved data and the corrective action sign-off references the approved data. Execute a FAA Form 337 outlining the work performed and forward to the Chief Inspector for review and approval. If an AFM supplement was included as part of the major repair/alteration make sure a copy has been placed in the AFM.
   ◦If any work performed required an update to the current aircraft weight and balance make sure all required forms have been completed and a copy of the updated weight and balance has been placed in the AFM.
   ◦If any Airworthiness Directives were complied with verify that the corrective action statement meets the requirements outlined in the GMM and 14 CFR Part 91.417.
   ◦Close out work order package with the required return to service and airworthiness release as outlined in the GMM.

•Any other job-related duties as assigned by the Chief Inspector.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Hold a valid Mechanic’s Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
•Have 18 months of experience in maintaining aircraft as a certificated mechanic of the same category and class as the certificate holder uses or maintains.
•Must read, write, speak & understand the English language.
•Proficient in using tools, test equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned.
